Statistical Methods

Statistics may be defined as the science of the systematic study of the relationships of numerical data. It deals with collection, presentation, analysis and interpretation of quantitative data. The application of the statistical method to the analysis of biological variation, gave way to the birth of biometry or biological statistics. The various biometrical principles such as probability, variance etc; have wide application in genetics.
