General Ability Test (GAT)
:
This test comprises of various sub-tests as given below: Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs

1) Quantitative Ability: This sub-test is designed to test the quantitative ability of the candidates. The sub-test consists of questions on Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work and Task, Ratio and Proportion, Distance, Profit & Loss, Algebra and Geometry of the level of matriculation.

2) Communication Ability. This sub-test is aimed at testing the language ability of the candidates in day to day communication in English. It includes questions on synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, singular, plural, one word substitutes, idioms and phrases, correct spellings, etc.

3) English Comprehension: This sub-test is aimed to test one's ability to comprehend a situation from a given passage.

4) Analytical Ability This sub-test is designed to test the candidate's inference and logic from the given information.

5) General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This sub-test is designed to test the candidate's general knowledge and current affairs.

Managerial Ability Test (MAT): it is a test to judge the managerial effectiveness and interpersonal skills of the candidates. This test comprises of various sub-tests as given below: Case Study, Business Domain Test, LogicalAbility

1) Case Study This sub-test is based on a situation of an industry environment. It helps to evaluate the candidate's managerial ability.

2) Business Domain Test: This sub- test is based on the famous Brands and also on the overview of Apparel Industry covering latest developments such as WTO and Import & Export Policy, etc.

3) Logical Ability: This sub-test is aimed to evaluate the candidate's ability to identify the logic or reason involved in a particular problem given and applying the logic in solving the problem. Concepts and practice of creative and lateral thinking are likely to be useful. Short listed candidates from the written entrance examination are required to undergo Psychometric Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interview.

psychometric Test: This is an assessment test that measures the general competencies. The competencies measured fall into two groups: Task Oriented and People Oriented Competencies. This assessment test measures both the task and people oriented competencies.

The Task Oriented Competencies measured are Analytical Thinking, Global Perspective, Innovation, Learnability, Planning and Organising, Problem Solving, Process Oriented, Strategic Thinking.

The People Oriented Competencies measured are Communication, Coordination, Leadership, Negotiation Skills, Teamwork

Case Study based Group Discussions: Group Discussions entail a discussion comprising of approximately 15 to 20 minutes of discussion on a case study given on which a panel of experts will assess the candidates on the following parameters: Conceptual clarity, Knowledge of the topic assigned, Contribution made on the topic to the group, Interpersonal skills, Ability to generate new ideas, Problem solving approach, Leadershipqualities, Effectivecommunication.
