Branches: Architecture (68 seats), Planning (20 seats).
Duration: 5 years, 4 years.
Reservation of Seats : SC-15 percent; ST -7.5 percent, Foreign students nominated by the government of India-3 seats; Educationally deficient States/Union Territories where there are no facilities for the course-10 per cent(l seat for each State/Union Territory); Handicapped 5 per cent; Children/Widows of Armed Personnel/Paramilitary forces killed/disabled in action -5 per cent.

Minimum Qualification: Must have passed 10th class with Science and must have secured atleast 60% in 10+2 Examination of CBSE or equivalent in four subjects including Physics, Maths and English (5% relaxation for the SC/ST candidates).

Relaxation of 5% for military/paramilitary forces/personnel killed/disabled during hostilities and the physically handicapped candidates.

Age Limit: 17 years as on October 1 of the year of admission.

Domicile Restrictions: Admission is done on All- India basis.


Application Procedure: Application form and information bulletin containing full details may be obtained from the DCO Bank extension counter, IIPA Building, Ring Road, New Delhi and its other notified branches in May/June (on notification) during banking hours. Requests for application form by post accompanied by crossed Demand Draft of UCO Bank/State Bank of India and drawn in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, payable at New Delhi is to be addressed to the Registrar of the School. Foreign Nationals are required to apply to the Government of. India through their diplomatic channels.

Last Date: Last date for submission of completed application form is usually in the third week of June of the year of admission.

Method of Selection : Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination AIEEE conducted by CBSE.
