3. Branches: Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Automation, Metallurgy (20 seats each).
4. Duration: 3 years.
5. Management: Deemed University.
6. Reservation of Seats: SC/ST 221/2 per cent.
7. Minimum Qualification: First class B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Statistics (Pass class for SC/ST candidates).
8. Domicile Restriction: Nil.

9. Application Procedure: Application form and information material can be obtained during March/April (on notification) from the Institute on payment of prescribed fee.
10. Selection: Selection is made on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination. The test comprises papers of Physics, Chemistry and Maths of 100 marks each.
11. Centres: The entrance examination is generally held at Bangalore, Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Dharwad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Patna, Tiruvanthapuram.
