Common Entrance Examination
A Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET) is conducted for admission to 4 year B.E./B.Tech. course and 5-year B.Arch. course in
(i) All Regional Engineering Colleges, through Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra.
(ii) Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, Murtha.
(iii) Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences, Bhiwani.
(iv) Maharishi Markendeshwar Engineering College, Mullana (Ambala).
(v) College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
(vi) Seth Jai Prakash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Radaur (Yamunanagar).

(vii) Institute of Technology and Management, Gurgaon.
(viii) Vaish College of Engineering, Rohtak.
In private colleges 50% will be free seats and 50% will be payment seats.

2. Eligibility: For Free Seats: The Entrance Test is open to candidates who have passed their Qualifying Examination (10+2 or equivalent) or are due to appear in the Qualifying Examination in March/April of the year of admission and belong to one or more of the following categories:

(a) Appeared/appearing from School/ College/Institution located in Haryana, (b) Haryana domiciled irrespective of the location of School/College institution (for all colleges except RECs), (c) Children/legal wards (if parents not alive)of (i) Haryana Govt. Employees (ii) Employees of Autonomous Bodies/Boards/Corporations of Haryana State whether posted in or outside Haryana, including those on deputation to Govt. of India or various organisations under the Govt. of India irrespective of the location of School/College/Institution, (d) Appeared/appearing form School/College/Institution located in Chandigarh and Delhi (for admission to Regional Engineering Colleges), (e) II class pass appearing in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from the CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar for admission only to 4 year B.Tech.(Agr. Engg.) in College of Agricultural Engineering, and Technology.

For admission to the Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences, Bhiwani, the CEET is open to candidates who have passed/or are due to appear (as regular student) in the 10+2 exam to be held in March/April (of the year of admission) of Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani or equivalent from anywhere in the country. Candidates should have secured 60% marks in aggregate of PCM.

For Payment Seats: Schools/Colleges located anywhere in India. However, first preference will be given to candidates who have passed their qualifying exams from schools in Haryana or have a Haryana domicile, followed by non-Haryana candidates

3. Selection: All eligible candidates are called for CEET usually in the month of June. CEET comprises of a composite question paper of 3 hours duration and will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in Maths, Physics and Chemistry of 60 marks each.
Note: Admission to a particular Institute will be made as per eligibility conditions mentioned in the Admission Brochure/ Prospectus of the concerned Institute.

4. Medium of Examination: English only.

5. Examination Centres: Ambala, Bhiwani, Chandigarh, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Kurukshetra and Sonepat.

6. Application Procedure: The Application Form for CEET can be obtained in the month of February/March on cash payment of the requisite amount at the counter of the Institutes or by Registered Post on payment of the requisite amount by Bank Draft from the Principal, Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra payable to SBI, REC, Kurukshetra (Code No. 6260) from the Chairman-CEET, REC, Kurukshetra.
Note: Candidates are required to apply separately to the Institute, in which the admission is sought, after the declaration of CEET result.

7. Last Date: It is in the month of April.
