1.Indian Institute of Information Technolohy-Hyderabad (A.P.)
(An Autonomous, Self-supporting Institution)
Courses: 4-year UG programme and 5-year integrated programme in IT. The institute awards its own Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (GDIT). The content of the UG programme would be on par with B.E./B.Tech. programmes. Candidates are selected purely on the basis of performance in a nation-wide entrance examination.
Eligibility: Students who have completed (or complete by June), 10 + 2 with Maths and Physics are eligible to appear in the Entrance Exam conducted during May al over India. Those appearing in 10 + 2 final or equivalent exam during the year may also appear in the entrance exam for consideration of provisional admission. Foreign Nationals INR’s may also apply for the exam.

Admission Procedure: The Entrance Examination is held during May at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubhaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam; Those qualifying in the written examination are called for counselling at the Institute Campus.

2. Indian Institute of Information Technolohy-Allahabd
(Established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India),
Nehru Science Centre, K.N. Road, Allahabad-211002 (U.P.)
Course: 4-year, B.Tech. programme in Information Technology.
Minimum Qualification: The minimum academic qualification for admission through an Entrance Examination is a pass in the final examination of the 10 + 2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in the 10 + 2 final or equivalent examination in May of the year of admission are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination for consideration of provisional admission.
Age: Not more than 25 years as on Sept. 30 of the year of admission. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for se, ST and PH candidates. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only is taken as authentic.
Candidates must produce in original Class X certificate as a proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing which they are disqualified.

Reservation of Seats: For SC candidates: 15% and for ST candidates: 7.5%. These candidates must however qualify in the Entrance Exam with certain specified (but relaxed compared to those for the general category candidates) qualifying norms. SC and ST candidates are required to produce, in original, a caste certificate issued by competent authority at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
Admission Procedure: For the undergraduate and five year Integrated Programme a Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by IIT.

3. Indian Institute of Information Technolohy-Gwalior

Course: Five-year Integrated PG Diploma Programme in Information Technology and Management & Information Technology.
Eligibility: 10 + 2 with PCM.

Admission Procedure: For the under graduate and five year Integrated Programme a Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by IIT. Plan of examination and other eligibility conditions are same as already mentioned in IIT.

4. Indian Institute of Information Technolohy-Kolkata

Course I: 4-Year Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering.
Course II : 4- Year Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
Both the Degree courses are approved by Viswa Bharati
University, Shantiniketan (A Central University under UGC).
Eligibility: For the Software Engineering Course: Pass in Class XII level Board Examination in Science stream with Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
For the Information Technology Course: Pass in Class XII level Board Examination (with minimum 60% marks in aggregate) in Science or Commerce stream with Mathematics/Business as one of the subject.
Selection Procedure: Selection is made on the basis of written test of 2 hours duration. Written test is held at Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Bhubhaneshwar and Katmandu followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
