Admissions to B.E./B.Arch. courses in
(i) Goa College of Engg., Goa

(iii) Goa College of Architecture, Goa are made thorugh a Centralised Admission Process.
All seats in Goa College of Engg. and Goa College of Architecture and 50 per cent seats in Padre Conceicao College of Engg., Verna are Free seat. 50 per cent seat in Padre Conceicao College of Engg., Verna are payment seats.
2. Eligibility : XII, i.e., HSC exam. from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or another equivalent exam. with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum marks (in case of SC/ST/OBC 40 per cent marks) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting. Physical fitness of the candidate is also essential.

3. Domicile : Candidate intending to apply for admission should have resided in the State of Goa continuously for 10 years (5 years in case of candidates whose either of the parents/grandparents are born in Goa). Children of employees of Central Govt./Public Sector Undertakings serving in the State of Goa for two years, or employees of Goa Got/Undertakings; or persons residing in the State of Goa for the purpose of occupation/employment for a period of 5 years, provided the candidate has passed his or her qualifying exam. from a school or college in the State of Goa are considered as exceptions.

4. Selection Procedure : Selection is made on the basis of total marks secured in qualifying exam. giving weightage for participation in NCC and Sports activities.
5. Application Procedure: Application form and prospectus can be had from the Directorate of Technical Education Alto-Porvorim, Bazrdez-Goa or the Engg. College, on payment of requisite charges.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat, constitutes a State Level Admission Committee for the purpose of Admission to 4-year B.E./B.Textile in the Government, University and Private Engg. Colleges in Gujarat State affiliated to the University of
Bhavnagar, Gujarat, MS University of Baroda, North Gujarat, Sardar Patel University, Saurashtra and South Gujarat University.

All seats in Government and University Engg. College and 50 per cent of seats in private Engg. colleges are open to Gujarat State candidates. 50 per cent seats in private Engg. colleges, including NRIs, which are open to Gujarat as well as outside Gujarat candidates.
2. Selection: Selection is made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and merit list is drawn on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in their external exam of theory papers of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying exam. Interviews are arranged on the basis of this merit list.
3. Eligibility: HSC, i.e., XII Standard Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology from Gujarat Hr. Secondary Education Board or CBSE, New Delhi from institutions in Gujarat with 55 per cent marks (40 per cent in case of SC/ST candidates) in the theory papers in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.

Those who have qualified the exam-from CBSE without Biology are eligible to apply for admission at the Faculty of Technology and Engg: MS University of Baroda, Baroda. Those who have passed from CBSE without Biology are eligible for admission at Faculty of
Technology & Engg., Baroda.
4. Domicile: Those who have passed qualifying exam from Gujarat and children of Central Govt. employees transferred to Gujarat within three years; officers of United Nations; Officers of All India Service allotted to Gujarat state/deputation outside state;
Gujarat State Employees posted outside; Officers of Gujarat State working at places where such facilities do not exist and persons whose native place is Gujarat but at residing abroad are eligible for admission to B.E./B. Tech.
5. Reservation: SC-7 per cent, ST-14 per cent, SEBC-27 per cent. In addition, seats are also reserved for Physically handicapped candidates and children of Ex-servicemen and Armed Forces Personnel.
Application forms can be had from Engg. Colleges on cash payment of prescribed charges.
