Subjects: Cancer Research (including Cancer epidemiology); cardiology and gynaecology.

Scholarships are assigned for project-oriented training in higher techniques and methodology and are not for generalized training/studies leading to a degree or Diploma.

Engineering and Technology: Computer studies including information technology; word processing, data processing and micro­ electronics applications, electronics, environmental science and engineering; remote sensing technology communication engineering including satellite communications, optica1 fibre communication and digital communication; Bio technology bio-chemical engineering, robotics, Science (Pure and Applied).
Mathematics; molecular biology; physics and chemistry.

Agriculture and Allied Fields: Animal husbandry, agronomy, forest economics.
Humanities and Social Sciences: History, Sociology, Management Studies; Fine Arts.
Qualifications and Experience: Medicine MDIMS in the subject field with 60% marks at Bachelor's and Master's degree level with two years continuous teaching, research and practical experience.

Engineering and technology in the subject related field with 2 years continuous teaching/research/practical experience thereafter.

In Paper Technology Master's degree in Engineering/M.Sc. Chemistry/BE (Pulp and Paper)/University, Diploma in Pulp and Paper with 2/4/3/5 years experience respectively.

Science and Agriculture: First Class Master's Degree in the subject/related field with 2 years continuous teaching/research/practical experience.

Humanities and Social Sciences: First Class Master's Degree in the subject/related field with 2 years continuous teaching/research/practical experience thereafter with the following conditions: Master's Degree in ancient/medieval history/archaeology, background in European history is desirable, fine arts, 5 years National Diploma in Fine Arts.

Master's degree in Fine Arts/history of art desirable. Five coloured slides/prints photographs may be attached with the application. Experience not essential.
