Eligibility: Age below 33 years (35 years for SC/ST). Qualification for Doctoral Studies: Uniformly good academic record with 60 per cent marks at Master's degree in the subject or related field. Post-Doctoral Ph.D. degree in the subject. (Conversion formula should be indicated where grades have been awarded).
Experience: 2 years consecutive teaching/research experience after passing the prescribed qualification. M.Phil./Ph.D. is counted towards one year's experience. Sufficient knowledge about Arab countries. Candidates are expected to submit precise programme of study/research. Value: Monthly allowance of LE 200 (including accommodation) book allowance, preparation allowance, internal travel, medical care, tuition, examination and other fees. Advance applications may be considered if it is subsequently received through the employer within two weeks. Applications of persons who are abroad are not considered.

Subject: Arabic Language & Islamic Studies. Eligibility: Age upto 35 years (relaxable for SC/ST candidates). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with 60% marks. Value: Monthly allowance of LE 200 (including accommodation). Hostel facilities are available for boys. Preparation allowance of LE 150 and books of LE 50 are also paid on arrival.

Passage Cost: The return air ticket is provided by Al-Azhar University after successful completion of studies. Travel expenses from India to Egypt are borne by the candidate/sponsor.

Procedure: Application on plain paper to be submitted in the prescribed format as per notification by due date. Employ candidates should submit applications through proper channel. Applicants who are abroad at the time of interview are not considered.
