Combined Medical Service Exam .
The Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) conducts Combined Medical Services Examination to recruit the following:

(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officers in the Railways in the scales of 8,000-275-13,500 plus restricted not practising allowance as per orders in force from time to time.
(ii) Junior Scale Posts in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service in-the same pay scale as mentioned in (i) above.
(iii) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service in the same pay scale as mentioned in (i) above
(iv) Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
(u) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Corporation.

2. Age: A candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st January of the year in which examination is being held. The upper age limit may be relaxed upto a maximum of five years in respect of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and for certain other categories, e.g., bonafied displaced persons etc.

3. Educational Qualifications: A candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

Note: A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection will be appointed only after completing compulsory rotating internship.

5. Examination Subjects: The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks for each subject will be as under:

N.B.: (i) The question paper will be set in English only.
(ii) All the questions will be of the Objective Type.

Initial Pay: About Rs. 10,000/- in the scale of Rs. 8000-275­-13500.
