Bilateral Cultural Exchange Programme Subject / Fields: Chinese language and Literature, music dance, fine arts, social science including political science, economics, history, sociology, education, population studies, etc. Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine and various fields of science and technology.

Duration: 1-2 years.
Scholarships: 25
Commencement of Academic Session: September.
Notifications: April/May.

Eligibility-Qualifications for Chinese language: 2-3 years Certificate/Diploma in basic Chinese language. Preference is given to candidates with background for study of Chinese texts on Indian Philosophy, Buddhism and Ethics, Social Sciences and Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language from JNU or equivalent.

Value: Scholarship covers expenditure on boarding and lodging. Tuition fees, pocket expenses are paid by the Chinese Government. Passage Cost: Both ways is borne by Government of India.

Procedure: Application, duly sponsored by the employers (if employed) furnishing particulars (as per notified format) may be submitted on plain paper, by the prescribed date
