Level: Post-graduate, Advanced Study.
Subjects: (A) Tourism Management-Duration: Short-term. No. of Scholarships Unspecified.
(B) Hotel management:
No scholarship students.
(C) Research in Archaeology, Austrian Litt., History Philosophy/Theology: Course of nine months duration & restricted scholarships.

(D) Mineralogy: Nine months duration courses in mineral explo­ration and petroleum Tech. Exploration of possible petroleum sides.

Notification: February/April.

Eligibility:
(A) Tourism Management

Age: 22-30 years (22-32 years for SC/ST).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 55 per cent marks and one year Diploma in Tourism (changeable). (Conversion formula should be given where grades have been awarded).

Experience: One year practical experience in the field of Tourism after graduation.

Additional Requirement: Command of written and spoken English and sufficient knowledge about Austria.

Value: Scholarship includes: Fee for registrations, Medical inspection, tuition including expenditure on food production and beverage service, accommodation, excursions, health insurance, final examination.

Passage Cost: India to Austria and back payable by the Candidate/Employer/Sponsor.

Procedure: Applications (in duplicate), with recommendation of the employer (if employed) may be submitted on plain paper (as per notification format) by prescribed date.

Fee of Austrian Schillings 155.190 (Approx, US $ 12, 933) is payable by students. They may apply direct to the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Schloss, Kiesshelm, A-50n, Siezenhaim near Salzburg, Austria’s

Eligibility Age: 22-30 years.

Qualifications: 10+2 with 60 per cent marks with 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management (55 per cent marks) and one year's experience. Knowledge of English/European language.
(B) Research Subjects.
Age: 21-35 years. .

Qualifications: Master's degree in the subject/related field with 60 percent. marks.


Experience: Two years (consecutive) in the teaching/research after obtaining PG degree.

Additional Requirements: Proficiency in German; subject of research should be in the field in which the candidate post-graduated.

Value: Scholarship includes monthly allowance of Austrian Schillings (AS) 6,800 (Aprox. Rs. 9,060 for PG students); As 8,000 (Approx. Rs. 10,600) for Assistant Professors (Changeable) with allowances for health insurance, university fees, books and accommodation.

Allowances granted by Austrian Government are sufficient for one person and no financial support or other facilities are available for spouses/relatives.

Procedure: Applications in duplicate, duly sponsored by the employer along with a) No objection certificate and guarantee of re employment, (ii) two recommendation letters, (iii) attested copies of testimonials, (iv) Secondary School Certificate in German translation should be submitted on plain paper by prescribed date
