All India Entrance Exam For Admission to MBBS / BDS Graduate Course CBSE-PMT Main Exam (2004 onwards)
The examination for admission to 15% seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal or other local authorities in India, except the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, generally in the month of May.

2. Age: Minimum age of 17 years on the 1st July of the year of examination.
3. Educational Qualifications: 50% of the total marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the Qualifying Examination. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required for Qualifying Examination shall be 40%.

4. Application Form: Prospectus and Application Forms can be had from the selected branches of Canara Bank on payment of the requisite amount

5. Method of Selection: The eligible candidates are requested to appear at a competitive examination in the following subjects:
The subject of the written examination, time allowed the maximum marks for each shall be as under:
N.R. 1. All the questions of Paper I will be of Objective type. Each answer
with correct response will carry 4 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

2. Only those candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear in the final exam.
3. The final examination will have conventional (Non-objective) questions to be the answered in the test Booklet supplied.
