Reasoning & Logical Deduction:
The section on Reasoning & Logical Deduction calls for problem solving ability as well as time management skills of a candidate. The paper is designed to test the candidate’s ability to understand a particular problem and choose the best possible solution out of the given options.

The problems are in the form of words, pictures, patterns etc. Reasoning part of the questions is of two types: Verbal and Nonverbal. The Verbal questions are stated in language form while the Non-verbal ones are set in diagrams

Another important section of this paper is Logical Deductions which is intended to put the candidate’s skills to logically analyse and synthesize the facts to test. The problems being tricky, require one’s sharp understanding ability to deal with them

The verbal questions on this paper are generally from the following topics: Coding-Decoding, Dices and Cubes, Analogy Test Class Test, Blood Relation Test, Series Test, Direction Test, Venn Diagrams, Logical Deductions, Mathematical Operations Test, Inserting a missing number

The Nonverbal section deals with the Series, Mirror image, Water image, Classification, Analytical Reasoning, Analogies, Paper folding and cutting, Figure Matrix, Spotting out the embedded figure etc

Numerical Ability & Scientific Aptitude: Numerical Ability part of this section is basically on mathematical formulae and calculations covering Age, Average Compound Interest, Discount, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Ratio, Proportion etc. The second part i.e. Scientific Aptitude is related to basic know-how of physics, Chemistry and Biology. The question in this section are of Class IX, X standard

General Knowledge: The paper deals with questions on Geography, History of India, Indian Economy and Policy, Current Affairs and Sports

English Language: This paper is intended to test the Language skills, knowledge of grammar of the candidate and for the that he/she is engaged in spotting errors, reading comprehension, one word substitution, idioms & phrases, Antonyms & synonyms, Logically arranging the order of sentences etc
