About the National Council: The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, a registered Society under Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Government of India. It centrally regulates academics for hospitality management through structured courses of studies that are imparted at the government sponsored 24 Institutes of Hotel management and 8 Food Craft Institutes located in different parts of the country
About the course: The Bachelor of Science programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a 3-year programme the equips trainess with the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector

Eligibility for Admission: Minimum Qualification: A pass certificate in the final exam. Of 10+2 system or its equivalent. The candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-Univeristy) examination. Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent examination. Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE for being considered on provisional basis
Age Limit: the candidate should not be more than 22 years of age as on July of the year of the entrance test. In the case of SC and ST candidates, upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years

About the Written Test
The Written Examination Consists of questions on the following sections:
(A) Reasoning & Logical Deduction
(B) Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude
(C) Aptitude for Service Sector
(D) General Knowledge, and
(E) English Language
Duration: 3.000 hrs. Language of Question Paper. Bilingual i.e in English and Hindi. For each question you will be awarded one mark. There will be negative marking to the extent of half mark for giving a wrong answer. Result of Written Examination will be announced on the website of the National Council (www.nchmct.org) during May
