Offers 4-year B.Tech. in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering. The admission is made through IIT JEE.

Highlights of IIT JEE
1. JEE is held in two stages.
2. You have to submit only one application for both the examinations.
3. Screening Test is held during April.
4. You will be eligible to appear at the Main Examination, to be held in May, only if you qualify in the Screening Test.

You have not to pay separate fee for the Main Examination.
Pattern for JEE: The entrance examination consists of:
(1) A Screening Test consists of objective type questions of 3 hours duration in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with equal weightage for all the subjects.

(2) The Main Examination of three separate paper  (non-objective type) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, each of two-hour for those who qualify in the Screening Test.

Answering Languages for the Main Examination: The candidates are permitted to write answers in the Main Examination in any one of the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Reservation of Seats: as per rules.

Eligibility Criteria: The minimum academic qualification for admission through JEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent examination may also appear in JEE (Screening Test and Main Examination) for consideration of provisional admission.

Age: 17 to 25 years. Candidates from SC/ST category are entitled to age relaxation as per rules. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only is taken as authentic.

Screening Test is held at various centres spread all over India.
Last date for receipt of Application: January. JEE: ScreeningTest-April, Main Examination-May. Results: Screening Test December/January, Main Examination- May/June.
Counselling: June. Despatch of final offer of admission: June.
