Production of cDNA microarrays
Production of microarrays involving large cDNA fragments (molecules, much larger than 20-mer oligonucleotides) involves delivery by depositing systems rather than in situ synthesis. Small amounts of specific cDNA fragments are deposited onto known locations on glass surfaces. Two liquid delivery technologies have been used extensively for the production of cDNA microarrays.
