PatMatch
PatMatch allows users to analyze a given sequence against all or against a number of selected sequence datasets available in the databases. This can be done via the Web. The data sets available for this purpose include thefollowing: (i) protein sequences and their structures, (ii) genomic DNA sequences, (iii) bacterial artificial chromosomes (BACs), (iv) EST sequences, etc. PatMatch (developed as Arabidopsis database in 1999) allows users to find motifs by entering a regular expression patterns or a simple string of less than 20 characters.
