Vegetative Reproduction
Every individual plant has a limited life span. But for the perpetuation of its species, it derives various methods to reproduce. There are three modes of reproduction:
1. Vegetative reproduction
2. Asexual reproduction
3. Sexual reproduction.

1. Vegetative Reproduction
It is a process of reproduction in which a portion of plant body becomes detached and develops into a new plant. Root, stem, leaves and buds are the parts involved in vegetative reproduction. It is of two types:
(a) Natural
(b) Artificial
