	Root System There are two kinds of root system 1. Tap root system It develops from radicle of germinating seed growing as tap root. It branches to produce secondary or tertiary root. Tap Root - Fibrous Root 2. Adventitious root system It develops from any part of plant other than radicle.
Roots may develop from base of stem, nodes or internodes of stem or from foliar bud as in Bryophyllum.
