As most of us are aware, websites have become a popular medium of disseminating information about organizations or institutes, their aims and objectives, products and services provided by them, to advertise their own products or services or of their clients' through web pages, to promote and transact business internationally without involving traditional correspondence through letters etc. or travelling distant places.

Basically, its multiple advantages have made websites indispensable for the conduct and promotion of business across the world.

Some people often mix up graphic designing and web designing as one and the same, but the fact is that designing for web is more about communication and content than graphic designing which involves more imaginative skills for creating better visuals.

Web designing demands a broad skill set, including technical proficiency, interpersonal communications and an aptitude for design. Lt comprises of the selection and coordination of available components to create the layout and structure of a web page. A good web page should take into account all the web elements i.e. audience, information, purpose and objective statement, domain information and web specifications and should combine them to produce a plan for implementing the web.
